Beginning -
The film begins with a radio broadcast with international, world-renowned businessman Vincent Clarke discussing his success and how he was able to build a multi-billion dollar security company. He finishes off the interview with his motto "It's prime time!" Thomas is awoken by the sound and immediately slams the radio and turns it off. The character then gets up and begins getting dressed and ready to go to work. He then heads out of his house and goes to the bus stop where in order to go to work. Thomas is clearly very miserable in his job through his attitude when he is going every morning, this is most likely due to him just being a simple blue-collar office worker who finds it very mundane and irritating. At the bus stop we see him waiting for one of the many busses that could take him to the office except he doesn't get on either of them that already came, 3 and 7. Eventually he ends up getting up and just walks to work, the next time we see Thomas he is walking into work precisely 23 minutes late.
Middle -
As soon as he sits down and puts his bags down he is called into Vincent Clarke's office to chat about this recurring lateness. From the offset we can see the type of character Vincent is as he clearly values himself much higher than any of his employees but acts as though they are the best of friends. His own office is filled with pictures of himself with motivational quotes to 'inspire' his workers. At this point Vincent is attempting to chat with Thomas making it seem as if he cares about his problems, clearly Thomas isn't giving Vincent anything to work with and is just staring blankly. Throughout this meeting we see a daydream that Thomas has now of actually murdering Vincent but he is snapped out of it when he hears Vincent saying "you gotta get it together now, whatever your name is. It's prime time! And if I ever have to see your worthless face in here again, you will be fired. Now get to work buddy!" Finishing it with his classic thumbs up pose. After his meeting with Vincent, Thomas returns to his seat where all his work is done when some of his co-workers, Joe and Luke swarm around him to talk about what happened in there. They both say to Thomas how they have no idea that he's still got his job and they're actually quite worried about him since he is frequently late and never wants to seem to do anything anymore. Thomas reassures them that everything is fine and that work is just getting him down as of late, with which Luke says "Alright well don't let it get you down as much, we all wanna kill Vince just as much as you" and they both go back to their spots in the office. We suddenly go back into this daydream of Thomas' for a short time where he is shouting the prime numbers in order and killing Vincent but he quickly snaps out of it. Thomas then tries to get his head down and do some work but all he can see through the accounting he is doing are prime numbers and the constant reminding posters of Vincent in his signature pose wit his infamous quote "It's prime time". Thomas is obviously in extreme discomfort and is suffering with an awful migraine which he can't do anything about. Suddenly the next time we see him he wakes up in a toilet stall with dried up blood running down from his ear, when he realises where he is he discovers he has written a list of prime all over the stall. Again the images of him killing Vincent rushes into his head.
Ending -
We then see Thomas he is at home planning what we think is to finally kill Vincent, he is constantly typing prime numbers down on his computer. He then pulls out a memory stick and goes to sleep. Thomas then starts to dream about him killing his boss again with detailed visuals. The next time we see Thomas he is at the office where he is being shouted at by Vincent. Vincent then announces that it's time for break where all the employers begin to walk out and as Thomas starts to stand up he is pushed back into his seat and told that he has to finish his work before everyone gets back or he will be fired. Once everyone has left, Thomas gets up and puts his memory stick into Vincent's computer and starts typing where we see he is installing a computer virus onto the whole system. He hits enter on the keyboard and then we see the aftermath of Thomas' actions as all the computers in the office start to shutdown and prime numbers take over the screens as he walks out of the office, finally leaving everything behind. Thomas walks past Vincent who asks him where he is going but Thomas doesn't reply and just walks out of the building. Then we see Vincent walk into the room and start shouting trying to figure out what has happened, as the whole business starts to shutdown as Thomas walks away, finally free and happy.
