Prime Time Film Poster Analysis

Our film poster uses a colour scheme composed of three colours, white, black and a blue-ish green. The poster was originally just black and white, but after asking around and also following the criticisms of our teacher, I made a few changes to the colours, making use of a green to add more depth to the design.

The main message behind the poster is that these two characters are entirely opposites of each other in Personality and lifestyle, this is conveyed through the contrasting colours, black and white. The two characters juxtapose each other. To further emphasise that these two characters are completely different down to the bone, the two characters face each other in the centre. This also emphasises that they are clashing with each other.

Above the silhouettes of the characters, are the names of the actors.

On the poster, I included the age rating, as well as a review. These two features are often seen on film posters, the age rating is also a requirement.

The font used for the production credits at the bottom of the poster is 'steel tongs'. The main staff members are written down.
